EH&S Mission Statement

The mission of the Caltech Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Office is to reduce illnesses and injuries, promote the health and safety of Students, Faculty, Postdoctoral Scholars, Staff, and Visitors, and facilitate innovative research at Caltech. Through comprehensive safety programs, environmental stewardship, and with emphasis on consultation, collaboration and education, the EH&S Office strives to empower the Institute community to integrate safety awareness and practices into all activities at Caltech.
